Hi All, I've been freaking out for the past few weeks and need some help/reassurance. I'm fairly certain I have HSV2 based on the following symptoms that started about 7 days after unprotected sex... -Pelvic/Stomach pain -Frequent urination -Testicle Pain -Join Pain -Headache I've also had a single underground bump that's come up twice near my scrotum and went away over night. It's been about 3 weeks at this point. The symptom that has me most concerned though is this incessant itching around my face, but mostly at the tip of my nose and nostrils. I've had 4 or 5 little tiny white heads come and then disappear around the itching, but the itching remains. Has anyone had this type of itching before from HSV2 on their face??? I don't know how it could have spread to my face as I didn't perform any oral, and she had no cold sore at the time, so I don't believe it's HSV1. Advise is much needed :(
hsv1 and hsv2 both cause genital and oral outbreaks.
this does not sound like either. if your worried get tested.
Thanks for your reply…I did go to get tested and was told I needed an active outbreak, as the traditional test is basically 50/50 of being falsely positive or negative, so they don’t perform it any longer.
I forgot to mention I’ve had pimple like breakouts on my ass and thighs. Not a terrible amount of them, but something I wouldn’t ordinarily get.
