Hello all 

I had some tingling on my penis a day after receiving oral from a lady 

I went to the lab 5 days later and had test 

Results

HSV1 IgG 3.45  

HSV2 IgG 0.09

Hsv 1 IgM  negative 

HSV 2 IgM negative 

Now after 11 days I got

- Swollen, red tonsils

-itching all over 

-tingling in my lips and genitals 

I don’t have any outbreak yet 

My questions are 

- can I get it orally and genitaly at      same time

-  can I transmitted to my kids by touching and hugging and what to do to minimise this

-do I need to retest my self again 

- and how painful is the outbreaks

No you can’t give it to your kids by just hugging and touching them. You should retest for herpes becasue your body hasn’t built enough antibodies for it yet so about  3-6 months retest again and it depends on the person. Everyone gets different outbreaks , some really painful some really mild. Also depends on the persons ammune system and how well their body fights over infection
