hey all, I. had a bump show up about a week ago and looked and i thought it was an ingrown hair as ive had those before. I tried some warm compressed, hot bath, etc but nothing helped. i just took a shower last night and checked on it again and it now looks totally different like HSV sores. What are your thoughts? i see my doctor tomorrow. Is there anything i can do to help this go away sooner? Anyone have any reccomendations for what anti-virals work best, and if i can even take them while pregnant? These photos basically show the progression in a week.
I’m not too sure but they seem more like very inflamed hair follicles
i really think it’s a cyst. doesnt really look like herpes
posting as a follow up, they ended up bursting and are very itchy and were previously painful. I know my partner does have HSV-1 and ive being tested for the 4th time to find out if i have it now as well. It is taking awhile to heal
