About a year ago, I started experiencing sciatic pain. For about a week, I would constantly have back pain and butt pain and have a sensation that I needed to urinate. Immediately after the sciatic pain stopped I had a lot of yellow discharge. About a month later, I was in the sun (got pretty burnt 2 days in a row) and broke out in what looked like bug bites all over my body (They did not look like the blisters I have researched associated with HSV). At that time I was also itching all over my body with flu-like symptoms. About 3 months later I started getting the sciatic pain again and this started recurring almost every 3 months, I also had those same bug bite looking sores appearing on my lower back (but not every time I experienced sciatic pain). A couple of weeks ago this happened again and about a week and a half after the sciatic pain I got these pimple-looking spots on my lower back again. Yesterday, I started experiencing flu-like symptoms with an itching sensation all over my body, but no sores/lesions anywhere. Does anyone know what this could be? I am currently out of the country and unable to be properly diagnose. Keep in mind I was diagnosed with HSV1 two years ago due to canker sores forming all over my mouth (with flu-like symptoms). Thanks for your help.
No one can diagnose you with ghsv over the internet. The best thing to do is to get tested.
There are a wide range of symptoms for ghsv, and not everyone gets the same symptoms, or experiences the same symptoms to the same degree.
There's so many varieties of symptoms and severity of symptoms with this virus.
Canker sores are not related to herpes, unless you mean you had oral sores resembling canker sores. What you have on your body does not sound like HSV. Certainly not typical HSV, which does not usually affect the whole body like that. I'm not even sure if it sounds like shingles, since it's so frequently occurring. Best thing is to get it looked at and tested, I'm afraid.
