Hsv1 question help please

I got diagnosed with hsv1 sores around my anus 3 months ago, the outbreak was really bad. Since then I've not really had any symptoms so assumed the outbreak had cleared. The other night I was very drunk and woke up next to someone, big mistake I know as I shouldve mentioned abt the hsv. I thought the risk is low of passing on (about 4%), but since then I've been paranoid that I'm having another outbreak, felt tingly and sore. Should I ring the man and explain the situation?? What are the chances he could carry it and pass it to someone else if I was pre outbreak? Feeling very bad abt this situation.

Just because you don't have blisters doesn't mean you can't pass it. It can be passed by shedding from what I was told by my Dr.

All I was told in the Gum clinic was to avoid during outbreaks rolleyes and not to share towels during outbreaks. I've got the hsv1 though that u get from oral with someone who has a cold sore, maybe that's different? Do u think I should warn the person? Or just hope that they don't get it?
