Can anyone tell me what HSV1 on the genital near the anus looks like? I have HSV1 on the mouth, have for 35 years but I’m noticing something strange near my anus.

If you can get to a doctor or walk in clinic you should. That could possibly be the beginning bumps of herpes. Sometimes they start as small bumps like shingles almost. I don’t believe the appearance looks any different between the two to types. A hsv1 breakout on the genitals can be less severe than an hsv2 breakout.
