I was diagnosed with HSV2 in September. Every time I get a breakout I get tingles/itchiness around my mouth on my top lip.
Is this a sign that I could have hsv1 also?

No doctor here but seems to me if you had been tested for HSV and the results just showed HSV2 then i would think that you are clear. Read as much as possible and compare your scenario. Have HSV2 myself and get blisters in my mouth sometimes, my test showed negative for HSV1. MY first and only "outbreak" so far had me tingling in the spine-ish & in my leg. Am sure you will get your answers. Know you are supported and this site is a Great resource ♡
Reading others experience makes me think that my test results are wrong. My test came back negative i haven’t had sex since July and i was just tested again at the beginning of January and it was negative. But i have tingling and itching around my mouth and lips and i have sores on my tongue but my doctor said they are canker sores. And for the past 3 days when i take a shower i feel a sting in a few places on my vigina but when i look at it i see nothing
