I Was recently diagnosed with hsv1&2 I am having a yellowish discharge and a pain in my right upper buttocks.. I am just wondering how do you know when u are having symptoms?
People tend to have different symptoms. I can say that my symptoms are a headache above my left eye and pain behind my left leg right under the buttock. I was diagnosed with it in July and I have already learned these symptoms mean an impending outbreak. You just have to listen to your body and you will soon be able to understand when an outbreak may be around the corner.
So you have both genitally? You came up positive for both simplexes on blood work?
Your symptoms are normal. The yellow discharge is because you have internal sores on your vagina and cervix. The pain you feel in your buttock, is neuropathy and I had it severe in buttock and back of legs. Keep taking your antivirals and take 3,000mlg of lysine during obs and 1000 daily.
Your first ob will have more symptoms. Symptoms are any burning, tingling, yellow discharge, itching, fissures, red bumps, feeling like skin is sun burned or nerve pain like you are having. Sometimes you will have no symptoms, but are shedding the virus and are contagious
I have both oral and genital.. I dnt have any other symptoms but the pain in by buttocks and yellow discharge. I am not on any medication because this is my first outbreak I guess.. this is so depressing. There is no way I can tell a future partner this I try to remain positive but this is heartbreaking I am only 31 yrs old never had an STD went for a check up and was diagnosed with this.. O.M.G I guess I need to contact my doctor for the medication.
Thanks!!
Be blessed you don't have any other. Cause I was in h*all during my first ob. I had moments of nauseum, faintness, exhausted, etc.. I remember I almost passed out one night rubbing hydrocortisone down below, cause I felt a whole bunch more bumps pop up that evening that weren't there during the day. I about threw up and counted like 24 bumps that turned into sores on me. That wasn't including inside me either or my rectum or butt cheeks. If you just started breaking out in the last 72hrs, you may not have had your worst of this yet, so be prepared.
I understand how you feel.. I just got it back in July and I am 33.. I was devastated and couldn't get out of bed. I couldn't be around anyone, because alls I coukd think about was my herpes and how dirty I was and if they only knew, they'd think differently of me. I remember going to a party at the end of Aug and went w a friend who has it too and has had it for almost a decade.. Thank God for her, as I had to experience my first herpes joke made by someone. I handled it really well and changed the subject.. Kt now made me think about how many times have I unknowingly made an insensitive joke like that, in regards to a situation someone can't control nor asked for. I will admit, watching a movie last night w this guy I just started to see last week, I dreaded any jokes regarding herpes possibly coming up.. Thank god none.. I'm actually handling it pretty well now and I find it therapeutic to be there for others like you, because I remember what it was like for me too. I felt like my world was ruined, I thought the pain would never go away, I thought I coukd never enjoy myself w out being plagued w the thought of having this every second . but here I am, back living life again and dating even 5 months later. I promise it gets better. But you have to promise to always tell someone. Give others the choice that you were not given.
If you are not in significant pain and are healing pretty quickly, no need for the meds. It's more of a personal preference for someone. I have to take it daily or I will break out. I can feel it wanting to break out now because my hormones.. I'm close to starting my cycle.
Don't worry there is treatment! Regarding conventional treatment there is acyclovir (Zovirax), famciclovir (Famvir), and valacyclovir (Valtrex), which are pretty effective against the symptoms! However, note that they treat only the symptoms and not the virus itself. Regarding non conventional treatment there is Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR, which are backed by clinical studies. Apparently they activate the immune system which as a result target the latent virus- which is pretty cool! However its disadvantage is that it takes about 2 months until good results are obsereved so you might wanna begin with both treatments, and after a few months stop with the conventional treatment.
Don't listen to that Lisa chick, she is promoting a fake supplement that is under investigation of the FDA. do not buy that stuff, it is dangerous
I'm not promoting anything I'm talking from experience. As far as I'm concerned the conventional treatment are just as good and effective. If you would have known better you should know that there is no need for FDA approval on natural remedies and supplements. To me, whatever helps remission is good enough
You absolutely are promoting and I'd knock it off before I 1. Report you to the site 2. Also report you yo the fda. People have gotten very sick from this "natural remedy" which makes false claims and I've done my due diligence researching it.
