I recently got hydrocele surgery 4 weeks ago. I was wondering when does your scrotum fully drop without swelling and goes back to normal. The testicle where the hydrocele was the scrotum is still slightly up while the other side has dropped like normal. Should i be concern and how long will it take for my scrotum to be back to normal?
I’m at about the same stage as you, time wise and swelling.
Have no pain.
I’m not at all concerned.
Did your doctor say that the swelling will go down ? im just worried since the swelling went down on the side where there no hydrocele. While the other testicle that had the hydrocele, my scrotum has not dropped on that side.
I had a routine follow up with my Dr 2 weeks after the op.
Swelling was still there but he wasn’t bothered at all.

mine took a good 3 months to go down to normal. The side where the hydrocele is still a little wonkey. Meaning my testical is not dropped like the other. frankly i could care less. This whole ordeal was a giant pain in the ass. I’m just glad its over. fyi- my surgery was July 18th.
