I am wondering about hydrotherapy. I have a hydrotherapy bath tub in my home but am not allowed to sit in it for another 5 weeks. 90 degree angle negates that. The local swimming pool has a hot tub would that be similar to the hydortherapy you folks have in the UK?

I have hydrotherapy in the pool that has a treadmill underwater. Waking in it in the water that's heated is relaxing.and less weight bearing in the water.
There are handle bars asking either side off the treadmill to steady ones self.

Hello Isabelle - I had hydrotherapy treatment here in the UK in a private hospital which was a large heated pool with a lady physiotherapist and floatation aids. The physio lady guided me through exercises that help re-build and strengthen the muscle around the joint. This was over 12 35 - 40min sessions. I can recommend this if its available where you live (USA?)
