hi all my son had an ok when he was 18 months old for mild hypospsdius. this left him with a fistula which was operated on when he was 2 . The 2nd op failed and he was left with a small fistula again . Although young he was adament he wasn't having another op so we decided we would let him make the decision as to whether he wanted it sorting as he got older . He has lived with it and got on ok until last night he came to me and asked if he could have the op to sort it . It's a day I selfishly hoped would never come . I remember how awful it was the first 2 times for me and his dad more than him but he's now 12 and old enough to decide what he wants . My question is how likely is it to work this time ? I'm not sure I could put him through it again for it to fail again 😞
