Hyperparathyroid and memory

So I am going to see endocrine surgery in 16 days and I asked my endocrinologist if my memory will improve after my parathyroid surgery.

The doctor could not give men a yes or no just that my calcium levels will decrease. Why can’t she say yes if there is proof from other patient that it improves?

Unfortunately ahamad this happens all the time. I think they are to scared to commit to a straight answer. Like you my memory is shocking and I do find that very worrying as I just can’t get my head around anything. Take care .
