Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but i shall give it a try. I was just at the dr. And after increasing my dose of medication from 25 to 50 my results came back as 18 from 10. My Dr. Said it increased after the 50 but stayed the same of 10 while taking 25mcg and i am still within the healthy range? Range of what though is my question???
You need to give us better information. What medication are you on? What was the test for the results you are posting? Also post the range for normal for that test in the lab that tested you. You are entitled to receive a copy of your lab reports and that information will be on there. Ask your doc for a copy and then post that information here.
Hi, like linda187 suggested it is best to keep a copy of your blood tests as it is very easy to forget the details your doctor mentioned during the appointment.
On the blood test, you will find the name of the test performed, the test value, the units, and the normal range.
These are important as different labs might use different techniques and measuring units resulting in a different normal range.
