Hyperthyroidism

My age is 48

TSH - 0.007uIU/mL

T3 - 2.92 pg/ml

T4 - 0.64 ng/dl

Is consuming neomercazole 20mg per day good for my health or not?

Do i need to increase or decrease the consumption of neomercazole?

Please suggest.

You need to post the ranges for normal for each test beside your results as these differ from lab to lab before we can properly comment.

Hi, from the values it seems to me that you are referring to total T3 and free T4 (FT4).   You could clarify that and also mention the reference range.

The units can be converted and FT4 0.64 ng/dl corresponds to FT4 9.83 pmol/L. Expressed in these units (used in the UK) the reference range for FT4 is [4.5 - 19].  If the assumptions above are correct, then at least your FT4 seems to be within range.

I would advise you to talk to your doctor before adjusting your medication (based on suggestions by complete strangers on the internet). You will get some useful advice here but keep in mind that we are mostly fellow patients and not medical professionals. Your doctor can examine you, ask about your symptoms and will have your medical history, diagnosis. He or she will also know how long you have been taking Neomercazole and at what dosage.

How are you feeling? Do you still have palpitations or other symptoms of hyperthyroidism? When was your last blood test?
