Looking into hypnotherapy to help with my anxiety with IBS , been looking at reviews on the internet but can't find anyone's personal experiences with it, was wondering if anyone on here has tried it and is it worth the money??
I'd like to know the answer to that too.
I have been seeing a hypnotherapist for some time and find it very helpful indeed. He was recommended to me by a gastroenterologist and is well aware of the problems of IBS. He cannot remove the symptoms but helps me to deal with them. Everyone is different but it is well worth the money for me!
Thanks for the answer Margaret. Glad you have found something that helps.
I'm trying reflexology, 1st time I went not telling the lady why I was going, she took 1look at my feet and said your stomach is in turmoil and your colon is blocked. Hour session was 30 pounds, she said to drink extra water. That night my urine was almost black in colour text lady and she said it was toxics coming out of my body. The next few days my stomach was more painful that ever but she reassured me that sometimes it happens that way. Had 2nd treatment and nearly due to go back for third. I can only afford to go once a month. But I must say it seems to be helping. Always trying FOOD MAP. I'm taking lansopraloze from doctor and acidophilus I get from herbalists which is just good bacteria. Relaxation techniques may help you with anxiety, but anything is worth a try. If u decide to go for it make sure u get a hypnotist who is well recommended, your gp might but able to advice u.
