Hi, I have a cool sensation on my tongue and roof mouth too. This has been going on for months. I got tested for covid and it was negative. It feels as though someone took a topical coolant and swiped it over my tongue and roof of mouth. Food and drink tastes are not what I know them to be making me have no appetite. I do not enjoy my food or drink. I have had GERD and have to watch what I eat before going to bed as I would get laryngo- spasms and they are quite frightening. Of course docs ( General Practioners' do not seem to understand much when it comes to the gastrointestinal areas. I want so bad to rid this from my life. Everything tastes off and this cool sensation is driving me nuts. Perhaps I have had Covid and have antibodies from it. I am on lithium and Pristiq. Both could be a culprit but I have been on these for awhile and this never occurred before. I am now weaning myself off lithium and do not see any improvement. I can go off Pristiq but it make me sick in stomach to wean off that and I can't tolerate that nauseous feeling every day. But in order to do that I will have to wean off to find out. All I can say right now it is very weird and I want it to end. Eating these days is one of my few only enjoyment's. Please text any time with any solutions.
