Hypospadias - is it worth fixing ?

I have a mild case of hypospadias, with a full foreskin covering the glans and whilst it has never really affected me physically I think as i get older (appoaching 40) I’m more conscious of how it looks. Girlfriends have never thought it a problem, even though I’m not massively well endowed , but I’m wondering if its worth fixing to look more “normal” for want of a better word? What do you think? Does anyone else have it?

It looks like i have a scar on my foreskin, but Ive never approached my parents to ask if it was picked up when i was born.

Good morning

At 40 I would not even worry about it.

You said that you have not had any problems so why mess around.

And that so called scar I don’t think that is a scar. I think that is the Perineal Raphe. If you look from the tip there is a line that goes all the way through the scrotum. This is when the penis is formed.

Be safe…Ken

Dear ant,

If it hasn’t bothered you, then don’t bother it!

Thanks for the responses, if I’m being honest with myself is probably more in my own head than anything else.

The worry i have is that it looks too different to the “norm”. Its a topic that I wouldn’t feel comfortable raising with friends and equally not even to girlfriends either. It wouldnt feel right me asking if theyve ever seen one like that before and does it look ok to them, because really those are the questions that are always in my head.

I always remember being with one girl for the first time and getting a text from her saying nice cock, the only girl to ever say that to me and with something like this that plays on my mind i cant explain how good that made me feel.

I dont know how common this issue is and i guess that unless you have this issue yourself then its hard to understand what Im trying to convey. Maybe it is more common than I realise and Im worrying about looking like the perceived image we all see as the norm in sex toys and in videos.
