hi-I started Levo (generic synthroid) 2 months ago-my thyroid levels are already back to normal at 1.75 TSH on only .50 of Levo-which I guess is good? on the first try. The thing is I am still feeling horrible! I think I went undiagnosed for at least a year-all the while gaining a LOT of weight-which 3 doctors dismissed as my fault of over eating-until I could get a correct diagnosis-from a doctor who did thorough testing. Anyhow-I am having horrible lower back muscle pain-my vitamin D levels were also very low-I have been taking vitamin D for 3 months and my levels are already at 33 verses 22-before the vitamins. Just wondering how long it takes to start "seeing the light" once your levels are in the normal range. I am also still very short of breath-when exerting myself ect. Since this has probably been coming on for several years-I am a realist and realize it's not going to be solved overnight-but wondering about others experiences? Thanks in advance! And curious-does anyone else have the pain in their muscles upon exertion or even walking long distances?! It's ridiculious. I am not in my 20's...or anything but am in my 40's....still I'm feeling like I"m about 90 years old right now!
