I am hypothyroid. I have also been diagnosed with LPR (silent reflux. I was thinking if there could be a correlation between the two conditions. I just had an endoscope on Monday and won't get results from test until the 28th. My voice is very hoarse all the time and lump in my throat and front of my neck hurts at times. Really they have similar side effects. Does anyone have this connection between Hypothyroidism and LPR.
Yes unfortunately people usually suffer with both.
I use to have it terribly. I was prescribed medication for it but it only made it worse. I started using apple cider vinegar (which I had used before is the past). Within a matter of weeks, it had improved.
Hi Jennifer, I am sure going to try the apple cider vinegar if I can. This LPR is ruining my life. I'm also on blood thinner so I have to run everything by my Doc or Pharmacist. Thank You so much for your response and information.
