Had a total hysterectomy and ovaries removed 18 months ago. Have had really bad pains in stomach the last few weeks and have now started to notice bright red blood when wiping myself in the bathroom. . Is this normal to happen after so long?
No question here....you need to go to see your Doctor. It may be nothing serious, but let him/her decide that for you. Let us know how you get on. x

Can you tell where the blood is coming from? Is it vaginal or anal? A doc visit wouldn't hurt and make sure you go when you are bleeding.
It is vaginal went to doctors and got sent to hospital. It's an infection internal so got 2 lots of antibiotics and open access to the hospital if it gets worse.
Glad you went to your Doc, Sharon, and they have managed to get you on some meds. Hope it clears up very soon. Keep us posted. x
