Anytime I smell a bowel movement lately its the same smell regardless of where i'm at or who had the bowel movement. I'm worried something is wrong with me please help!
I have not noticed a change of smell in anything else!
I was just about to reply when I noticed you had added a further observation. but perhaps I need not draw back entirely.
Have you had any change in medcation recently? Some medications can do very strange and unsetting things to one's perception of smell (and taste too but you are not talking of taste - hey now, that's a serious point so reel in your imagination and help Kylee with some ideas.) George
I have not had any medication changes. At the time this occured I did have a horrible cold where I couldn't smell or taste anything at all. My husband has told me he thinks it's some sort of phantom smell ( I believe that's what its called) i'm a worry wart.
Hi Kylee. I expect bowel movements give off complex smells. Perhaps you are smelling a short range of odours common to all and the cold has blocked off a number of olifactory receptors and so you loose the full variety.
Anyone else got some ideas to reduce kylee's worry wart?
