ive been getting these cold sensations in random parts of my body but mostly my neck. i’m also having these weird sensations in my arms, legs, and neck and i am guessing it is my veins. i have convinced myself that i will have heart failure or something soon because i think my body is struggling to pump blood to my heart. i have been experiencing symptoms for a week now and this is all new to me. i have been using weed in the past but stopped around the time my panic attack started but i had no interest in using it because i wanted to just take a regular break which is not hard for me at al, and it helps me relax but i have not built a dependence on it, i would like to use it to calm me down whether its from edibles or smoking but i am worried that if i do my veins will have even more trouble and i will stop breathing or have a heart attack and it is stressful because i have nothing to make me feel better. This all started a week ago after i cried for a good hour and half from feeling mis undertsood and just built up emotion.. after i calmed down i sat at the computer and my chest shockingly became tight and i freaked out. i am a 16 year old female and so worried. i wanna get prescribed with something that can calm me down or make me feel better but my mom does not want me to “get used to taking pills” or “risk my life for corona virus”. im honestly tired of all of this and i am so focused on not dying i am unable to eat, sleep, or work out in order to possibly better myself. If anyone has advice please let me know!
anxiety sounds like the effect, not the cause. what you are describing sounds like a pinched nerve or back problem. i would have your parents call your pediatrician and tell him about your symptoms. you will be okay, you are not going to die. dont let your mind wander and make you think the worse. you probably lifted something wrong or slept in a weird position causing a pinched nerve, back spasm, or slipped disc (at the worse) in your back. a circulation issue, caused by low blood pressure could also give you the cold sensations you describe but would also accompany numbness. if thats the case, a simple pill the doctor gives you will fix that. but this is what your pediatrician gets paid for, so let him do his job and you will feel better in no time.
