I am depressed completely with Slip disc L4

Have anyone had experience with slip disc L4? can a Chairo practitioner help? please share thank you

In my opinion and experience, I always start with chiropractic plus ibuprofen (10 days max). For the realignment to stick, you may need to give the chiropractic treatment a few weeks to a month. If still no relief, you will need an MRI before a neurosurgeon will even see you. With MRI in hand, the neuro can diagnose the problem and suggest a fix. I’ve had a couple of decompressive laminectomies that worked out great. Simple, quick op…no real rehab or recovery time.

Before surgery, the doc may want you to undergo some pain shots but: 1. they never worked for me; and 2. they don’t solve the actual problem. They might, however, be required by insurance prior to them signing off on any spine surgery. Not your call. Sometimes you just have to jump through the hoops…
