I am still having the constant feeling to breathe deeply and yawn. Once i have done it a few seconds later the feeling comes back again. Its like something happens at the back of my throat or is it a problem with my brain making this happen? I am scared I cant cope
have you been examined by a doctor? Have they checked your lungs and everything else? The reason I am asking is if everything checked out OK there, then it’s most likely due to stress and anxiety. I always had the need to yawn and take deep breath‘s from anxiety. IF YOU GOOGLE “DOES ANXIETY CAUSE YAWNING” you will see article after article showing that it does!it also causes you to take deep breaths . ive been doing yawning and deep breaths for years!
your brain is fine it’s our good old friend anxiety !!!
Thanks Jan. i am having a really hard time with it. the thing is i dont feel anxious at all but its this feeling of satisfaction from a yawn or deep breath that keeps coming in waves.
What causes this? is it something in my brain?
I had to yawn and take deep breath‘s even when I was not feeling anxious. Even if you don’t feel anxious, the anxiety is still a part of you. Sometimes it is obvious and other times you don’t feel it at all.
there are still many times where I need to take a deep breath and yawn. I think if you kept yourself busy you wouldn’t notice it as much
. Just remember it’s part of anxiety. I just take deep breath‘s whenever I feel the need to and don’t pay much attention to it. It’s not harmful and life’s too short .
Thank you Jan this is very helpful. I just do not get where it has started from. I was driving a long then all of a sudden i felt slight difficulty in getting a deep breath. I did not panic it was just annoying but then now all i wanna do is get the yawn feeling to satisfy my breathing. This is constant but it does not affect my sleep but when I wake up the feeling is their immediately.
