I cant understan why i have not had any posts on PMR forum since 7th august i read them everyday and as a PMR SUFFERER for 5 yrs i really miss the info and support pleae anyone reply with help thanks
Do you click the 'Follow this dicussion' in green at the top of the post?
Unfortunately most of the posts I get are regarding Fibromyalgia.
Not sure how they got onto this site......wish the moderator
would head them off and steer them onto their own forum.....
You probably just need to change your settings. Go to your profile and click on "settings" on the right hand side. There's a heap of check boxes relating to replies and responses that you can change.
That also happened to me. I must have hit something or other. Now all the posts go into my spam box. Hope you get it sorted. Good luck
Hello Jean, over the past 2 weeks I've been getting posts from the accident group and I never signed up to those!!!
go into your account then under forums, click on view your profile. Under groups click on see all groups and leave all the groups you no longer want to belong to. Then under Heath forums click on arthritic/bone/muscles, then click on PMR, then click on join our community.
Hope that helps. Regards, tina
Hi Faye,
You receive notifications from the Fibro group (and others) because you have posted there in the past. As Tina says below you can leave groups (or discussions) at any time. The quickest way to your profile is just click on your own username anywhere or use the Uesr Panel at the top right of the page. There is a Help section linked at the bottom of every page in the forums if you have any other issues.
Regards,
Alan
Hi Jean,
I have checked with our email sender and you have been sent several emails over the last week and these have been opened and links followed so I'm not sure what the issue is? If this needs more discussion please reply here and I will contact you directly.
Regards,
Alan
Hi Tina,
What sometimes happens is someone will post in PMR when the discussion doesn't belong there. Once this gets reported to me I will move it to the proper group. A side effect of this is that anyone who has already replied will then be a follower of the new group. I expect this is what happened re the accident group and I have asked for this to be changed.
Regards,
Alan
Yes, you are quite right. I think the trick us to always look at the topic heading before replying! Thanks Alan.
Thank you for reply and to everyone else who replied i truly did not have any new discussions posts since 7th august but sometning must be working now as have recieved replies of help and also one new discussion post today -although i usually recieve a few each day -so i am going to see if i get an improvement in next few days (hopefully) i began to panic when i did not receive for a few days - the tnought of being without this forum and all the info and knowing that the support is there when needed upset me -i have not posted myself for a while as husband been very ill and still not out of woods plus family stress too so been just relying on reading posts for a while -does this go out to just you or do i have to reply seperatley to thank the other pmrs who replied -thank you again and fingers crossed for new posts
Glad you got it sorted. It is a comfort. Hope all goes well with husband and family. Hang on in there. Regards Pat

I'm with you.....not too computer savy and have tried getting
our of fibro and bones, muscles etc groups. I only want
to be on Blepharitis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica....that's the
two diseases I have. I look for what moderator tells me to
do but don't see what he's talking about......oh well, I just
delete the stuff I don't want....
I am having the same problem.
Paula
I mean not getting the usual dily PMR posts.
Hi all,
If you click on this link https://patient.info/forums/me it will take you to your profile where you can see which groups you are following. Click "See all groups" to go here https://patient.info/forums/me/groups where you can leave groups and check which ones you are in.
The Help section is here
http://patient.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/topics/59133-discussion-forums which includes an FAQ about the User Panel
http://patient.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/398360-user-panel-functionality.
If you are not receiving emails for new discussions it may simply be that there haven't been any new discussions posted in the group. This does tend to be the quietest time of year in the forums. From checking our email sender the emails are being sent. See this FAQ about emails.
I am now away until Tuesday but will catch up then if there are still issues.

Alan
Thanks, Alan.
