i am having high b.p. what should I do

my b.p. was earlier recorded high . It then became normal without medicines . now again high what should I do?

You need to buy a blood pressure monitor and take it three times a day for a week and see how it looks as an average

Can you give us some more details e.g. age, weight, high BP readings, low BP readings, your estimation of normal?

thanks for reply. my high b.p. was 140/87.

am I required to measure b.p. three times in week or three times in day

I was told to measure 3times a day for a week. That should give you a good idea of what's going on

I am 62 and having the same problem. More than a month ago my dr gave me Coversyl. I took 2 mg for a week my pressure went down from 160/90 to 105/ 80. I drop the pill and I cut my 95% of carb from my food and did some yoga and took 4000 IU d3 and  q10 and other vitamins. I measured 3 times a day and it was the range of 105/ 80 to 130/ 80 and mostly 124/ 80. Slowely I sliped in to old diat pattern now. Now my pressure is 150/83. I thing the sugar also playing a role. My sugar is 6.7 and I don't take any medications for that. Cutting the carb brought the sugar level down and the pressure improved I think. Now I have to go back to the protein diet and am a vegitrain. Food and emotions also playing a role.
