I am really scared of the rabies virus i have not been bitten but i heard bat bites you cant feel them i have also not beeen in contact with bats i think i have anxiety plz help last night i couldnt sleep i have no fever no nothing maybe its because i didnt sleep that i feel tired or im just going insane in really scared of the virus
The rabies virus is caused when a human get bitten by an infected rabid animal. Bats hang out usually in church steeples, high places, sometimes bridges, or the inside of a hallowed out tree. They come out at night looking for insects, not people. There would be no reason for a bat to go after you, unless you are so tiny and have wings. You are safe.
This sounds like an extremely irrational fear, but that is what anxiety is all about! lol. Anxiety can make you think and physically feel tons of things, and unfortunately none of them are good. Feeling tired is def a symptom of anxiety bc of how it just wears you down physically and emotionally.
I highly suggest seeing a therapist! You can find one near you by using the Pyschology Today website, that's what I did. Try finding one who specializes in anxieties and phobias as that will be more beneficial for you. The therapist will help you understand your phobia of bats, how to cope with it, and possibly even explain why you have it in the first place. Then you will feel better!
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! funny I went through an obsession with the rabies virus. Weird. do NOT watch youtube videos of humans with rabies lol trust me on this one. Yeah I was obsessed for a while with it and the worst thing was I was petting my friends cat that is an OUTDOOR cat with no shots, and the thing had like gross ulcers on it's stomach before that wouldn't heal. And the cat has never ever bit anyone. And one day when I was petting it, the damn thing scratched and bit me and drew blood and let me tell you. I was 100% totally obsessed and sick over the fact I didn't know if I should go get rabies shots or what incase the damn thing had rabies, because that thing has been sprayed by skunks and it eats mice and stuff...……...omg I was SO worried. I'm still here though years later so I never got rabies lol.
