Hassan, I agree with the others that have said your blood pressure is not hypertension. When you are taking your blood pressure on your own monitor, you are more relaxed, so your blood pressure is in a much better range than when taken at your doctor's office.
Since the office setting seems to give you so much anxiety, go in to the office with a different mindset. Before walking in the door, maybe while in your car...relax and take 3 or 4 slow, deep breaths. Think to yourself that it's going to be okay no matter what...because it actually will be. No matter what your blood pressure is, you are taking care of yourself and You've Got This!!! Know that! Convince yourself of that!
When you go in confident that you've got this, when the doctor or nurse pumps up the blood pressure machine, what's the worst that could happen? High numbers like the last time you were there? Those actually came down at home, so just don't let the doctor's office setting get into your mind. Make the choice beforehand that you've got this, and you know what to do to fix this if the numbers are high in the office.
Your mind is playing a game with you. Win that game.
I used to have this issue even when I took my own blood pressure back when I had just learned that it was going very high. Wrapping the cuff around my arm I would get very nervous, until I learned to play this mind game my body insisted on playing with me. I knew that if the numbers were high, I could do something like take the slow deep breaths in, slow deep breaths out, 4 times each, and it would help relax.
If the numbers were still higher than I liked, I'd have a bowl of oatmeal with raisins & cinnamon (this is great for working on the numbers from within). Or a couple pieces of celery (it relaxes the blood vessels and lets the blood flow more freely.) In any case, when you know there are things you can do, all you need is the information of what the numbers are to set yourself into action and bring the numbers down to where you want them. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, and drinking enough water. The water makes the blood a bit thinner, so it moves through the blood vessels easier.
I hope this helps you! And remember...you've got this!
