I am so scared and need some reassurance please someone help

i am going through another bad phase with my seizure fears.

my deja vu feelings are more frequent again and i am getting really bad panic feelings in my head and body which sends my vision off almost like looking through a pane of glass.

the thing is the last few nights this is happening in my sleep almost like panic and i am scared its a seizure or auras prior to seizures or is it anxiety and can that cause these feelings in my sleep?

i must add recently i have been watching a lot seizure videos amd reading a lot about seizures on the internet just to see what they look like.

Could anxiety over reading about seizures cause physical symptoms that mimic seizures?

Any advice would be helpful

Yes, anxiety can do that, especially if you filled your mind with information about seizures.
Do you have ant reason to believe that you gonna have seizures? Are you epileptic?
About the deja vu feelings and the blurry vision, its possible that you experiencing derealization/depersonalization. Its is a common and NON-HARMFUL symptom of anxiety.
All symptoms of anxiety are not dangerous and can’t hurt you, its just not comfortable.
I’m dealing with anxiety myself right now, and I’m dealing with rough couple of days, but I have to remind myself that this is just anxiety and it makes me think irrationally.
Are you on some sort of medication?

that is exactly what is happening. anxiety is so unbelievably powerful that its symptoms can mimic a variety of
conditions.
so, which conditions in Will it mimic? The answer is that it will mimic what you tell it to mimic.
your constant input of information on seizures over and over again , gives your brain no choice but to give you those symptoms, even though you do not have a seizure disorder .
The worst thing you can do is the constant input of information about seizures such as watching the videos.
until you take a firm stand and refuse to let fear run your life, you will always have the symptoms and always be in a miserable state of fear and anxiety.
remember that what we put into our brain WILL MAGNIFY, whether it’s good or bad, positive or negative. It’s our choice.
So basically you are choosing to allow this to happen.
We choose whether we want to be a victim or be in charge of our life.
this is why it is essential that you get help with this otherwise it will never end. Speak with a counselor.

go see an epileptologist which is a neurologist who specializes in epilepsy… or keep turning to this website and listening to random people on the internet its your choice. You have my thoughts and prayers either way bud but youre going to get the exact same results from here. I truly hope you figure it out soon.

randy i have seen two neurologists who both say that its not epilepsy but i websites with people who do have seizures and some of my symptoms are similar that is why i am scared.

i have read about something called a simple partial seizure aura where you can get fear and deja vu and thats what i get but the neurologist seems to think epilepsy auras are different to mine.

i really do not know what to believe

I suspect the two neurologists are more likely to be correct than Google searches. I can convince myself I have anything from googling symptoms.

Maybe you sometimes have a migraine aura? I sometimes get them without the headache.

I know you have buddy I remember your posts from a few months back. Here’s the issue.. you don’t believe your doctors you don’t believe what people on here are saying. What is your gut telling you? What do you feel is really wrong? You and I have had this conversation before and I’ve been through all this myself. How often are you experiencing the deja vu?

To anyone else so quick to tell him its not anxiety who can honestly say that they frequently have feelings of deja vu? Everyone has experienced it at one point or another im sure but who else here has it frequently?

Also im curious what country do you live in?

i live in the UK

honestly i dont know what gutvis telling me.

i need to believe doctors so i am having to say its anxiety. i have had it years and neurologist says i would have had a larger seizure by now if it was seizure

All I can tell you is that if you have doubts man keep trying until you either accept it or figure something out thats all you can do honestly. Like I said go visit an epileptologist they specialize in epilepsy if they don’t find anything then I think you’re in the clear as far as epilepsy goes. Just for peace of mind… epilepsy is not a death sentence millions of people have it and control it. I’m not saying you have it I’m not a doctor but I do have temporal lobe epilepsy and I deal with it personally and I’m very familiar with the symptoms. In all honesty tho stress and anxiety can do all kinds of weird stuff to the brain and body. Good luck to you my dude.

Randy if you dont mind me asking what are yoir symptoms with TLE?

Do you have gran mal seizures?

ive never once in my life had a grand mal seizure. i have focal seizures.

What symptoms do you get with focal seizures would you be please be ok to describe it as it may help me diagnose what I have?
