I am worried about my penis.. There is new white membrane on foreskin and it cannot pull back to glans

i am 25 years old. from a fews days back i am noticing a new white membrane growing on my penis foreskin and the foreskin can not be pulled back to the glans.. i don't understand that is it phimosis or anything else. but there is no pain. i am worried about it as i don't want to go through circumcision. is there any solution for this.. :(

Hi sou,

I think you have lichen sclerosis, a scarring condition that can cause these symptoms. The photo not only shows that the foreskin is tight but it’s discoloured and whiter than the surrounding skin. You should see a doctor for some steroid cream and have it treated under medical supervision. Circumcision can be avoided if the steroid cream is effective.

I fully agree with the advice Adhari has given you - I am an Lichen Sclerosis sufferer myself, I can guide you further AFTER you have seen a medical professional about this, as you need to get an appropriate topical steroidal application in place as soon as possible.
You may be better to see a Dermatologist, but try to get at least a phone consultation with your Regular / Family Doctor / GP - or, some of the larger Sexual Health Centres / Service providers could also give you excellent advice and potentially refer you to an appropriate Dermatologist
