So I had sex Saturday night and I thought I had a tear from sex. It doesn't really hurt however its still there. This morning I wake up to what seems to be a burning sensation inside my vagina. However when I pee it doesn't burn. Is this an outbreak?
Herpes from my experience doesnt burn on first notice, but timgles and itches. Get checked out asap

I've been checked twice through IgG blood testing. I was diagnosed with HSV 1 and 2. So I know I have I've just never had an outbreak.
Then that was obviously a outbreak. And since it was your first, youre lucky.. Cause it only gets less severe
I still don't like it though....
Tell me about it. Im livin with my worse nightmare too. Just glad i dont have HIV.
Me too....so I'm not going to complain.
Please just try to jelp anyone you can ignorant about safe sex
That's the right thing to do.....
I had something similar except I thought I had chafing from so much walking the day before and from what I thought was a yeast infection but when I checked I saw I had what looked liked a canker sore, and I got test done still waiting on my results but I feel like I know the answer already! I was just wondering how do you deal with it?
Tea tree oil and olive extract, cyst baths, and medication is the best treatment.

I can't really say I've truly dealt with it since its still fairly new information for me. It hasn't been a month since I found out. I'm not dating anyone new so that makes it easier. I try not to look at it as a curse because everything happens for a reason. I just continue to pray and meditate. I look at life differently though.
I was wondering can I ask how long have you been living with it?
Almost a year

I just recently found out less than a month ago.
I still haven't gotten my results back yet but I feel like I know the outcome. At first it was hard on me and cried for days but now I feel like I should be grateful that I'm still living my bf also know that it could be a possiblty of me having it and he's been there for me so I'm just grateful for that to have him and my daughter by my side.

I cried a lot as well but reality sunk in on me....that crying isn't going to change it. Having a support system helps tremendously!
Yes that's exactly what happened to me I can't change it so I'll deal with it. Can I ask you if you've had any other outbreaks anywhere else besides the genital area?
How's is like living with it? I read so much about it but I would love to hear from someone who actually deals with it and if you could help in anything that I could do to ease the pain if and when I have an outbreak?
Well truly I don't feel any different and that reason could be that I'm not meeting new people. I've been with the same man for 10 years. I'm sure if and when I try dating I will feel totally different. I thought I was experiencing my first OB when I posted this. And if in fact it was then it wasn't to bad. No I I haven't experienced a OB anywhere else.
