I bought cotton clothing, came from China. They arrived 2 weeks ago. Feeling bugbit since. I find something on my skin, look at it with my handheld 30 power scope. I looked up bugs that bite humans on Google. Found it, thrips! Does anyone have any ideas how to get them out of the house. I set up a sticky trap under a table. I put a cotton ball in the middle of it to monitor. What next?

Thank you charles67285. I have been reading as much as I could find so far from Google. Much of the information is regarding outdoor problems with thrips. I thought they were some other problem until Sunday when I saw one to magnify. One website even said they don't bite humans, I thought - WRONG! I need to know what to do about the socks I bought, until I figure it out I will leave them Ziploc bagged and out in the shed. I wash my clothes with Borax soak and Ziploc them. I switched to wearing 65% polyester. That is what I did for the other bugs I thought I had. Since I think these thrips like cotton I will just stick to the polyester until it is over.
Then I would have a word with a good pest control firm ,they'd will identify them and get rid of them for you, best of luck
