I can't stop stressing right now..

I just came today from a doctor’s appointment and talked to my doctor about my throat problem, all I asked was for him to check my throat and see if I could possibly have any food still stuck in my esophagus, but he’s telling me he can’t really check all the way down and look and he recommended me to see a GI doctor to find out why I sometimes feel this sensation. I told him I do have really bad anxiety and I worry things too much about my health even if it could be nothing too serious. I never choked on my food, but there are times where I get that sensation sometimes. My doctor has only seen me twice and doesn’t know much about me since he is new. But since it has been 4 days now and I’m still alive, eating and drinking is it safe to assume nothing is still stuck in my throat? I just want to know that before eating normally again and not worrying about putting my life in danger. The food I ate was a granola bar and I didn’t chew it properly before swallowing, but didn’t choke on it and only feeling it stuck in the middle. Should I be okay?
