i thought i was battling ingrown hairs for the longest time until recently finding out people often confuse herpes sores for infected ingrown hairs. recently my suspected ingrown hairs are really painful and are opening up and oozing puss and blood especially if i have a long work day. I’m probably being paranoid and these probably are just infected ingrown hairs. I’ve been looking up images online and there aren’t a lot of picture examples of ingrown hairs and herpes sores of darker skin people to compare to my own, so naturally I feel lost and paranoid.
