Hi i'm 52, i have some health problems resulting from previous cancer treatment that make life a bit difficult but this is a new symptom....This is the 3rd day i'm struggling to wake up, i'm just falling into this very deep sleep and i can't get up out the bed for hours, i got up at 1pm today and all ive done is gone downstairs to make a cup of tea, im really breathless on exertion my heart is at about 125bpm but it goes back to about 90 on resting which is the norm for me. My oxygen levels appear to be fine! But i'm just sleepign and sleeping all day and all night, its like ive been drugged and i cant get out of it, its a really strong deep sleep. Any idea's anyone why this would suddenly come on.
No idea just what it is but seems to be very serous, I would see a doctor quickly.

Honeybea, This seems to have been going on far too long and although i understand your anxiety by asking others, who can only give you an ear and offer support.
Dear Honeybea, Do yourself a BIG favour and get to see some medical professionals for full blood work, thyroid testing and a host of other diagnostic tests, in an attempt to get you the answers you deserve..
As a cancer survivor also with issues, I can understand your hidden fears of the unknown.
When you have had professional consultation I'm sure all here would be interested to hear and support you through the diagnosis, rather than to offer you a host of perhapses or maybees.
