For over 8 years I have been dealing with this constant pit of acid reflux. I am not sure if sometimes it is just my anxiety but everyday I don’t feel good. Somedays it’s so bad I get other symptoms with it like bad stomach pains, fatigue, headaches, bad bad nausea. Its so frustrating due to the fact I am not sick. I have a really severe fear of throwing up(emetophobia) and the fact that I feel so nauseous everyday, I am always a ball of worry. I cut things out of my everyday life and avoid many things due to both my fear and also the way I feel. I am constantly scared I have to throw up and I only get relief from burping. I always get pains at the top of my stomach and am always convinced the acid reflux is ruining my stomach lining. However, back around April-May of 2017, I had an endoscopy done and they found nothing wrong and a clean esophagus. I get super bad headaches all the time as well. Chrons, lupus, and arthritis run in my family but I am not sure that I have many symptoms of these. My sister also has IBS. All I want is relief from this. My throat always feels yucky, whether I am lying down, sitting up, sitting in class. The doctor believed me to have an allergy and told me I should visit an allergist. I know we have previously run a number of blood tests and all came back with nothing.

Sorry to read that you are suffering from acid reflux, I too have similar problems as yourself, all test have proved to be negative. I just try and watch what I eat and drink and also try to keep my anxiety levels as low as possible. There are many of us on this forum who suffer daily but cannot find a cure. I take 2 PPi's a day which does seem to help a little. Hopefully you will be able to cope with this.

Why are you suffering. Get your doctor to prescribe an 8wk course of a PPI and see if it helps. If it does then you have reflux.
I use to suffer badly with reflux but doctors said no. A new GP arrived she prescribed a PPI and now I suffer no more and all the sore throats etc have gone. Been taking them for 10 yrs 30mg a day and its bee the best thing I ever did health wise
Aren't you experiencing side effects taking PPIs for such a long time?
