Are you able to talk to your family about how you are feeling? I think it would be best of you went and saw your doctor again and tell them exactly how your feeling. They are experienced professionals and will be able to help you further.

And you are probably normal.  What is bothering you?  Acknowledge whatever it it.  Maybe talking to a counselor will help you sought out your emotions and unvalidated fears.  Often one fear leads to another. Deep breathing may help.

Hello Mae,

I had similar symptoms to you 6 years ago. I woke up one night with the room spinning, my heart palpitating, my face and legs were twitching, I felt sick and faint. This went on for 3 months and was back and forth to the hospital and doctors. Eventually it was decided that I had a virus that had affected my inner ear and stopped my vestibular system working, causing vertigo. 6 years on I still have terrible neck/headaches and non stop muscle twitching, some days worse than others.

Although I was told it was an ear infection, I am convinced now that it is anxiety related and still is.

Keep going to the doctors and pressing for as many tests as you can - for your peace of mind.

Anxiety can cause a whole range of symptoms and muscle twitching is a very common one. Try not to worry too much, it all sounds anxiety related to me.

Get yourself on youtube: they have a whole range of relaxtion audios and hypnosis stuff - which is all free. I start and end my day on there now, rather than meditating on all of my ailments - it helps.

Let us know how you get on and you can always come and talk on here for a bit of advice and support.

Good luck Mae
