I got tested for HSV-2 and the numbers are confusing. I'm only familiar with <0.9 = negative and >1.1 = positive but this test has totally different reference range. It says I'm "within reference interval"

I assume you mean how many weeks after my last sexual contact? I took this test 3 weeks after my last partner. If it’s positive then I know I probably had it before that guy because it takes a while for antibodies to show up on IgG tests. I just want to know if this test means positive or negative
im not sure, but I think it is neg.
20 days are engoug to get tasted and retest after 4 weeks.
For this test it looks like anything less than 16 is negative and your result was a 2.28 so I’d say you’re good. “Within reference interval” might just mean that your results were within the range of negative results, I am not sure about that part.
