ok so i have had a new partner since october but before i hooked up with him i douched A LOT. And everytime i douched an infection would occur but i always thought it was a yeast infection! so a week after we hooked up i douched and i had a BAD infection and i thought it was a yeast infection so i would use over the counter meds. ( i also had a cold sore three days later after we hooked up) The itching stopped but then i had bumps forming around my vulva. i searched it up and it said i could get yeast infection bumps so i wasnt as scared. i kept hooking up with him but always had the bumps they never itched but i would get a tingly sensation. but keep in mind at the time i would get sick A LOT and during winter i always get colds. Everytime i would get sick i would get cold sores on my lips but it was not a surprise cuz i would get them all the time as a kid when i get sick (cuz of fever). my mom kept giving me TONS of antibiotics at the time so i though maybe that was the reason why i still have bumps cuz the good bacteria on my vag was destroyed by the amount of antibiotics i was taking (plus the shots) I went to a vacation around december and got really sick and the doctors kept goving me shots ( i got over 9 shots because i had the flu) & tons of antibiotics. then i started getting TONS of itchiness and discomfort but it did not hurt when i peed but i was having some weird discharge. it would smell sometimes but not all the time. And the infection was so bad i couldnt sit. one time i had yellow dicharge but only once. i felt like the discharge turned yellow because it dried but when i wiped it was clear so i dont know. My periods werent irregular it was still the same. the bad itching lasted for almost 4-7 days i dont remember. When i came back home the unbearable itching stopped. i also stopped douching after that bad infection and stopped washing with scented soaps (i wash with just water down there). then the itching would happen less and less intense but the tingly sensation was still there. i dont have an obygn and to top it off i dont have insurance.
