the sores did not hurt but i also had hemorrhoids before this happened, is it possible that it’s a secondary infection? my anus did hurt but not the sores directly

Sorry for what you are going through. It is hard to say what it is.
I did some looking and I found a picture what what you have they look the same but I don’t know if it is or not. Molluscum Contagiosum or it could have some to do with fester hair. Hairy guys have that problem
What you can do is just wash with just warm water. And may sure your dry before you put on your under ware I only would try this for a few days.
What you really need to do is go to a doctor and find out for sure before it gets worse

thank you so much. i have washed it and the white stuff went away. does that mean it could be bacteria of some kind, herpes, or something else, or the thing you said
that is genital herpes.

It looks like herpes. To be sure you need to get the sores tested as soon as possible before they heal.
Andrew, it could be a multitude of things, however i wouldnt worry about it being anything seriou and letting that play on your mind, i myself and a hairy guy, and have sufferent with inflamation and sores down there myself, it usually fungla or bacterial, as the area gets excessively sweaty and the hairs trap bacteria. thoroughly wipe after you have been to the toilet, ensure you keep the area dry, i tend to use talc twice a day around my genital and anus, once the sores have healed up, i would advise hair removal cream, and keep the area as clean as possible. im not a DR just sharing my experience of a simular thing.

i had them in my anal area too and they look the exact same as mine did.
they will start hurting in a couple days. you neef acylovir and gabapentin.
it looks a fungal infection to me. but get checked to rule out herpes
