I have been experiencing a really bad chest pain for a long time. I cant even breathe because of the pain and I try not to breathe. When i do it is so painful. Lately, i have been fainting during class and i am always tired which is why my parents are usually mad at me. They keep shouting at me all the time and i also think that i am suffering from depression. I've been trying to kill myself about ten times. I also want to talk to a therapist but i dont think my parents will be ok if i ask them about it. My hands are also really pale, almost white and usually i find it hard to open them. The veins on both my arms also keep hurting so much. Please help me. Im a 15 yr old girl and im scared. I cant tell my parents because they wont believe me,

Ok, I understand. Often, parents feel children are imagining things. First, let's try to calm ourselves and even thought it's hard to breathe, try to take some deep breaths, as deep as you can and see if it helps. Now a couple of questions; Even though your are 15, do you possibly have any characteristics that might indicate heart attack. (such as parents or grandparents with heart attacks at unusually young ages, like 40-45? Have you had any illness that has caused chest pain, coughing, or nausea? Have you had any situation occur that might have caused a lung to collapse. I'm not a Doctor but I am familiar with these symptoms and although you're worried about your parent's reaction, you do need to talk to someone, preferabley that ought to be a doctor but if that isn't possible, perhaps a school counselor? Not knowing the size of your school, or town, makes it difficult to properly suggest. Good luck!
I find drinking water can help ease chest pain because it could be indigestion. As for the tiredness, are you eating properly? Low blood sugar levels can lead to fainting, Do you have trouble sleeping? that could well be anxiety and you should talk about this to a professional Dr. So don't be scared and try to do what I suggested and I hope you feel better soon.
Yeah the breathing helps. Thank you!
No, I dont think i have any characteristics that indicate heart attack. I dont think any of my family members ever had a heart attack before. And no, I havent had any kind of illness either but I've experienced coughing and nausea too with the chest pain but I guess I wasnt that concerned about those two things as much as the chest pain since it hurt a lot. I never had a situation where my lung collapsed either. My school counselor knows my parents and they are good friends. She might tell them and they will be so angry with me. I'm trying to find a therapist who would talk to me online.
Okay. I usually dont drink much water. I drink, like, about one or two glasses each day. And I'm not eating properly either. Its very hard to eat since i have like 4 really painful mouth ulcers. Yeah, I also have trouble sleeping too. I dont think i can speak to someone professional but thank you!
First thing is go and talk to your school counselor if you don't think you can talk to your parents...killing yourself is never the answer!!! I don't know if what you are experiencing is anxiety or an actual health problem but you need to see a doctor and make sure that there isn't something going on other than anxiety first and foremost. I am assuming you haven't had any tests run and aren't being treated for anything because of how you worded your post. If I am wrong then you definitely need to talk to your doctor about your suicidal thoughts and attempts. If you are on any medications this can make those thoughts and feelings worse so they need to know everything so they can make any changes to your meds that are necessary. I know what it is like to be a 15 year old girl, even though that was a long time ago for me now, you need to talk to someone you can trust, like I said a teacher or a counselor at school. I don't know what the story is with your parents but unless it is very out of the ordinary, they only want what is best for you and most of your worries and fears are from your own perception of things and not how they really are. I have suffered from anxiety for over 20 years and I have a 21 year old daughter and a 14 year old daughter. My 14 year old is struggling with her own mental health issues and as a mother I want to make sure that first and foremost she is healthy. I'm sure things will work out if you just tell them everything you have said here and how you are scared and want to see a doctor to make sure everything is okay. Once you find out it is anxiety for sure you can start to find things that work for you to help you deal with your symptoms, like meds and therapy. And at the very least if your parents don't want to help you and there is something else going on in the home, you are NOT alone. Talk to a teacher at school, the counselor, the police officer on campus, a doctor, someone at your church (if you go to one), a friends parent, or anyone outside of your house that you can trust. Do not try to kill yourself again without at least trying everything else you possibly can, you may not be able to see it now, but you aren't worthless, you have a purpose for being here and you owe it to yourself to try as hard as you possibly can to have the best life you possibly can with or without your parents help. It will get better...if you just try...I promise you that much. And if there is something else going on inside your home, abuse or neglect, or something more sinister report them. I know they are your parents but that doesn't mean that abuse and neglect is right. Try talking to them, maybe there are other things going on that you are doing that you can't quite understand their reactions rationally right now. Regardless, talk to anyone around you that you can trust and try to get this figured out so you can start getting treatment so you can have the life you deserve to have. Good luck and God bless.
Don't be scared to talk to your parents. Not sure what kind of relationship you have with them, but at least ask them to take you to your doctor, so you can explain your symptoms to him or her. Have doctor do some blood work done and check yoir thyroid. I started having anxiety and weird health symptoms at age 17, I didn't know I had a thryroid problem. Hope you feel better and always look for someone to talk to, you're not alone. Take care. Aloha from Hawaii!
I am usually scared. My parents get angry easily and most of the time they dont believe. I went to the doctor many times last year and did many blood tests. they said nothing was wrong with me. Thanks anyway

Thank you, racheld1975. I guess I will try to talk to my school couselor but the problem is that i cant trust her because she is a really close friend of my parents. I did go to a doctor but the doctor took one look at me and said that nothing was wrong with me since i had a fake but real looking smile on my face. However, a few days later i did go again and do blood tests but they still found nothing wrong with me either. I've been taking medicines for a long time.
Thank you for your reply
And I hope you and your daughters are fine. Best wishes and good luck to you too.
The most worrisome comment you made is the one about trying to kill yourself. You need to see a therapist ASAP so they can help you work through your symptoms. I know how hard it is living in this kind of hell believe me! Therapy helped me quite a bit along with meds to help relax me when I was going through these panic attacks. Talk to your parents again. Let them know you want to see a doctor. They will listen. How often have you been fainting during class? The doctor will also run blood tests to make sure your sugar levels and everything else is stable. Sometimes if these are off, you can become lightheaded and pass out.
