It get really itchy at times. Even at night I find it hard to sleep. I just want get rid of this already
You need to see a doctor could be yeast or Herpes or both or something else.
(If) herpes you will need to disclose to current or future partners as it is an offence to infect others. Condoms do not provide protection and there is no cure for herpes. You can still be contagious even without symptoms . If herpes pls do not itch or wash your hands afterwards as you can transmit the virus to your gingers or eyes etc

Do you suffer from itching on other parts of your body/skin?
If you have severe itching that’s much worse at night then I suspect you have scabies, not herpes. Scabies is an infestation caused by tiny insects (mites), Sarcoptes scabiei, usually passed on through intimate contact with someone with the same condition.
Go to Dermnet NZ for more information on scabies and then go to your local drugstore or pharmacist and ask for either permethrin cream or malathion lotion. You must follow the instructions carefully and re-apply the same treatment a week later. Your partner should be informed as well.
