I have fainted about thirty times in my life, pain is usually the main reason. I think it may be that my blood pressure drops too and could cause it.

Yes I fainted at the hospital..when they tried to get me out of bed.( Blood pressure was low)..I also fainted at home..I believe from the pain pills..I had the same feeling as in the hospital so assume my BP was low...I stopped taking the pain pills..I was fine after.

Kebra, I hope you did not damage your hip, I would have been so scared. I was and still am very protective of my hip. I would have thought it was low BP, a lady in hospital keep feeling faint due to low BP.

It caught me out in hospital, I have never done that before. It was caused by a drop in blood pressure. I had it a couple of times, but the second time I was able to recognise the warning signs and got myself down flat to increase the blood supply to my head.
Yes. I fainted and was very sick the day after my op. I was told it's an after effect of the anesthetic which stays in your system longer than you may expect. Don't worry. You'll be fine. I am almost 9 weeks post op and everything is really good. I wish you the same.
Forgot to say on my post Kebra that my BP had dropped low as well. It raised back to normal within minutes though.
