im really freakin out of this pulsating in my stomach like the rythm of may heartbeat..i have a anxiety attack because of my GERD..i also IBS.
Hi there. I have exactly the same thing and at times it's unbearable and I totally understand your anxiety however, this is definitely adding to the problem. It's a bit of a vicious cycle because one leads to the other and vice versa I think. I'm seeing a consultant on Monday after having some tests done and I'm going to ask him the question. I think it's the acid reflux and the stomach spasms as it tries to push the acid out but i might be wrong. There are many more people on this forum more knowledgeable about this so hopefully they will help you but I will let you know what answers I get. What are you taking medication wise? Is it worse at certain times? Hope it calms soon.
