I have been struggling with Health anxiety for almost a year now. It started with withdrawals from alcohol ( I am 152 days sober btw) and just keeps reappearing. I have been to the dr several times and to the hospital (heart attack symptoms) 3 times. I have had EKGs xrays blood work and ultrasounds along with other testing and nothing shows up. I have tried medicine after medicine but I am fearful of addiction and stop taking them when I feel dependant. I really would like to feel normal again. Hopeless is what I feel now. I am trying Buspar and a beta blocker ( for rapid heart rate). I realize if I were going to have a heart attack I wouldve had one by now but it doesnt stop the symptoms from feeling like the most real thing ever when they are happening. Everyday is a struggle to make it through. I am starting to stay home all the time to avoid this happening in public. I have two children and a husband that need me and I am not able to be the wife and mother I should. I had to quit my job as well and can see myself working this way ever. If anyone has suggestions or just encouraging stories or similar issues please help. Thank you!
First thing... please check if you are Physically fit...
I know this things as I myself went through this... but only difference is took only one Tablet of Anti Depressent...
If you are fit and everything is related to mind then there are three ways which works simultaneously you can get your completely cured with no side effects... and without Medication...
First Regularly do Breathing excercise(Pranayam), there are 9 types of them... you will get it in Internet.. It will cure you in 10days... it worked for me in 10 days..and I was doing it for 90 min daily...
Second visit some hypnotist as till the time your mind is not clear any Pranayam or Medication will not work. So a good hypnotist will help you remove your worry.
Third Do running and Excercise... Running and Excercise release the same chemical which Anxiety and Depression Tablet force Body to release...

Thank you for your suggestions. As I stated earlier I have had thourgh testing and dr visits and every thing has come back clear. I do have a rapid heart rate which I am being treasted for but my heart has checked out fine with every test they have did. I will try some of your suggestions as I am at the end of my rope and ready for some good days. Again thank you.
I agree with rjnayak that deep breathing can help for sure. However, for me it comes down mostly to diet. There are certainly some other things that help out, such as working out or taking a cold shower (believe it or not this is the best thing I started doing for my health in general other than eating well). However, take a look at your diet. You could have food sensitivities going on. Take a look at the SCD diet and the GAPS diet. They;ve helped me tremendously.
your heart is racing because you are panicking. you need to find methods to relax yourself otherwise it will make you worse. you have too much oxygen going to your heart, breathing into a paper bag can help as it slows your heart rate down. other methods i use to calm me down are. goto a different room in the house from your usual room you are in. close your eyes and breathe slowly and regularly. think of positive thoughts, like a holiday you went on or something happy that happened to you! just keep thinking of those thoughts and just remember that everything will be good again. everything in life has a negative and positive side to it. you just have to look at the positive more. it will be hard at first but dont give up, you can beat this. all these things helped me get over panick attacks anyways so i hope they can help for you too.
Thank you I hVe been studying the different issues and diet is on my list just haven't dove into it yet. I find it hard to eat well when I am like this. I would love to be fixed though! Thanks again any advise is appreciated!
