I had Fibroid embolisation last week and I have been recovery pretty well. My worry though is that on 3 occasions unexpectedly I had unprotected sex with hubby 6 and 7days after my procedure. I was told to use condoms for the first 6months to avoid infections but am thinking I may get an infection and have a hysterectomy which am avoiding because I want to have kids some day. What should i do?
If you dont have any symptoms you might not have. Try sexual health clinic in your area because most infection do not show signs of symptoms. And its confidential whilst you re being treated. Be strong some times gynecology nurses are there as well.xx
