I've been on sertraline since October and I've been on 200mg for nearly 2 weeks. I've had no side effects every time I have upped my dose apart from the beginning of taking it were I felt out of it now and then. I can't tell if I have flu or if I have side effects of the sertraline, last week I had a headache all day followed by a sore throat for a few days, I feel achey, generally unwell, I feel sick, no appetite, and a lot more detatched then normal, I feel weirder then I normally do! Is this flu or is it the sertraline I'm so confused, also I feel so tired normally my energy levels are ok.
I had the flu last week and that is exactly how I felt. I feel so much better this week. Hope you get to feeling better this flu is awful..
Hi Pamela! Your symptoms sound like you may have two issues--if you don:t have a fever you probably don't have the flu. You may just have a sore throat with body aches. No appetite and headache could be the Setraline. (detached feeling too). Hang in there.
