I knew the day after my fall that my shoulder wasn't broken but have had muscle pain since. It has gotten better but I can't lift my arm up in the air without severe pain. The pain sometimes changes location but seems to radiate in the outside muscle or inside the upper arm. Any ideas how long it will take to heal? Do you think getting it checked will change the healing time? The shoulder feels fine.
erm...i think you should still get it checked out by the professionals, it will put you on the right track and give you mind a rest
Thank you Trex!
Oh Deb, your injury doesn't sound good. I agree with Trex, better to get yourself checked out by a doctor asap! You really do need some medical attention. The type of injury you have describe does take a long time to heal and if it heals incorrectly it can lead to further complications! You don't want to lose full mobility of your arm because you didn't go to a doctor. Ultimately you are responsible for your health and well being so please take care of yourself.
Ok, I did get an orthodox appointment. But, here where I live they can't see me for 20 more days. Have any of you heard of Slap Tear? By what I heard that is more how my shoulder is acting.
Nope, that is a new one on me. Had to look it up. It does sound like what you have described and hopefully you will only have to non-surgical route to recovery! Good luck at your doc's appointment. In the meantime rest your arm!
