I find Sudocrem soothing for this condition, but wonder if it is harmful when used a lot as it not a natural product?
Also I get a burning sensation on my inner thighs. I think this might be connected to the steroid cream I use, but my gynacologist says there is no connection as steroid creams are suppose to help.
Has anybody else experienced this? I'd be grateful for any comments on this.
I shouldn't think sudocrem would cause you any problems. It is after all used on baby skin. The gynae is correct that a steroid cream would calm things down most likely but we are all different. You should listen to Dr. Goldsteins webinair for the best advice I have ever heard about this condition. YOu will find a link to it pinned to the first post on this site. There is also an Australian site for care down there you could search for which also gives good advice about treatments. I think you could do with a moisturiser more as Ls affects dry skin causing tears and sores.
Thanks, I'll do as you suggest.
If it is steroid CREAM you are using then lots of people have indeed reacted to some of the additional ingredients in there. It is steroid OINTMENT that you need.
