Basically all day today , ive had this uncomfortable pain on my vaginal lips and I didn't get a chance to look at it before but i went to the bathroom & saw blood and realized it was bleeding right where the discomfort had been all day. I am sexually active and I'm scared it might be herpes . It's basically a small little round wound and sort of looks like a hair folicale but i don't know
I also accidentelly pulled or basically yanked out a pubic hair in that same area so I'm not sure if maybe the irritation or the pull caused the blood but I'm just worried
I’ve googled herpes photos after seeing several people ask about it. It doesn’t look this way. HOWEVER. It’s always good to get an STI test if you’re regularly active. It looks more like you pulled out a bit of skin when you pulled a hair out. I’ve had similar from running into in grown hairs (I shave, sometimes this happens). Just make sure to keep the area clean. Use flushable wipes or mild soap & water as a manual bidet. Honestly, this is best to do with every bathroom visit anyway. Toilet paper alone just smears in bad germs/bacteria from urine or fecal matter. Both are biohazards. I don’t care what people say about urine not being toxic. It’s literally toxins being flushed out of the body, lol.
You should never put any soap past your labia. It ruins your natural PH. This can lead to yeast infections.
Herpes isnt always typical of google pictures. Some people may not have a severe first out break. Some people have a recurrent spot or sore that resembles an ingrown or just a patch of irritation that reoccurs. 80% of of people with herpes never have a diagnoses because they don’t know they have it! This is how it spreads through viral shedding.
Your picture doesn’t look like a typical out break but given it is something abnormal for you, you should get it checked.
